NewsOn this page you will find the latest news relating to our website. The news here is the same which is found on the main page but there will be several months worth of news here compared to a only a few weeks which will be kept on the main page. Enjoy! January 3rd 2011 - Militarytrucks.ca redesign launched We are very happy to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website! It has been 4 years since we launched the website and thought it was time for a redesign. The new design is simplified to make things less cluttered and easier to find. We hope you enjoy it! Febuary 16th 2009 - New project page added. We have added another page to our site. Due to a huge amount of interest, we have added a page dedicated to the conversion of an M109A3 to an RV/Camper. You can find the link at the top of the page with the button "RV Project" or click here. Enjoy! January 24th 2009 - Two more pages added. We have added two new pages to our site. In the list of vehicles, there is the MLVW page. This page was added due to the fact that the MLVW is now being sold to the general public through several surplus sources (we have added two MLVW's to our personal collection). And there is also a new page dedicated to links to other sites. Please give them a look. October 16th, 2008 - New "Our Fleet" Page. We have added another page on our site for you to visit. You will notice a new tab on the left side of the page labeled "Our Fleet". On this page you will find a list of vehicles in our collection. This page will be updated continuously as our collection grows/changes. Please check it out. June 5th, 2008 - Change of hosting company. After a year of continuous problems and excuses from our old hosting company, we have finally decided that enough was enough and changed to a much more reliable hosting company. With the old host we had over a hours worth of downtime per month which was totally unacceptable. After getting several guarantees that it would not happen again and having those guarantees broken we decided it was in our best interest to find a more reliable hosting company. After nearly a month with the new host, we have had zero downtime and very quick server access. We would like to apologize to everyone who tried to visit our site during the time we were hosted with the other company and had problems accessing our site. April 12th, 2008 - Server Problems. We have had major server issues with our website hosting company. We are sorry for any problems this has may caused you and hope to have our site at 100% in the next few weeks. Nov 23rd, 2007 - Pages updated. We have updated some pages and corrected some errors on other pages. Please let us know if you see anything that needs information added or is incorrect. June 2nd, 2007 - MilitaryTrucks.ca is launched! We are very pleased to have finally launched our new website MilitaryTrucks.ca. We hope to become the #1 source of information for Canadian military vehicles on the internet. While most military websites contain information on U.S. or foreign vehicles, there is little to no information on Canadian vehicles. This gap in information has been a disappointment for many collectors who are desperately trying to find information on their vehicle. While we might not have all the information you maybe looking for, we hope to be a portal to other sites and people where you can find all the information you are looking for, possibly making a few new friends and contacts in the process. Several of the pages are still in process and do not have all their information as of yet. We are working hard to get these pages finished as quickly as time permits. We have full time jobs ourselves, but we are committed to working on the site as much as we can in our free time. Outside help is welcome as we are not experts in on all military vehicles. At the moment our specialty are the the M-Series (mainly the large trucks such as the M37, M43, M135/M211 and M152), though we are also familiar with many other vehicles as well.
